Dive into the clear water of the recreational lake
Summio Villapark Akenveen has a large diving lake where you go diving throughout the year! The lake is filled with spring water, making it extremely clear. If you have a diving certificate, you can dive unaccompanied. If you don't have your diving certificate, you can do an introductory dive under a diving instructor's supervision from the age of 12. Under water you will find several plateaus, crayfish, mussels, and various species of fish. If you would you like to find out more about the options, the staff at the diving school and shop at the park will be happy to help! There is also a filling station here.
Fishing in the large fishpond
There is total of four hectares of fishing fun at the holiday park! Find a nice spot at the edge of the fishpond or book a holiday villa right by the water where you can cast off from your private jetty. We monitor the fish stock regularly and enrich the lake with new fish to ensure there is always something to catch. You don't need a fishing licence to fish at the park, but you must use a Tenkara rod. The lake is known for being a good fishing spot where there's usually plenty to catch. Enjoy even more water activities
The holiday park's recreational lake offers plenty of options for water activities during your stay! You can go swimming in the clear water, go on a pedal boat or sunbathe on the recreational beach!
Food and drink at Petit Restaurant
Enjoy something to eat and drink at Petit Restaurant. You can choose from a daily menu, pizza, chips, and snacks. There is something tasty for everyone to enjoy. When the weather is nice, indulge in a nice cold beer or wine on the partly covered patio with its stunning views of the lake. Now that's what we call pure enjoyment!
There is a snack bar next to the restaurant, where you can get tasty snacks and delicious ice creams.
Indoor play area next to the restaurant
Het Adelaarsnest, the indoor play area, is right next to the restaurant. Here, children can have great fun playing while you are waiting for your meal in the restaurant. Children are of course welcome here at other times too! They can spend hours playing, scrambling, crawling, and playing to their heart's content with their new holiday friends.
Building in Spijkerdorp
Do your kids have bags of energy? Make sure you explore Spijkerdorp at Summio Villapark Akenveen! They can have tons of fun here while improving their technical skills. They can build the best huts with their others their own age.

As well as Het Adelaarsnest indoor play area, Summio Villapark Akenveen has even more to offer the youngest guests! Teenagers can chill out on the beanbags or enjoy music in The Lounge. Film evenings are organised regularly in The Lounge. There are various playgrounds spread throughout the park, and you can challenge each other to a range of games in Lucky's indoor and outdoor games centre. Who will scoop the prize?
Feed farm animals at the animal pasture
Summio Villapark Akenveen has a small petting farm. You will find various animals including goats, horses, rabbits, chicken, and pheasants on the animal pasture. And if you'd like to, you can help our animal caretakers with feeding. And if you have any questions about the animals, our animal caretakers have all the answers!
Hit a ball on the golf course
You can have fun hitting balls on the 13-hole miniature golf course and the 9-hole farmer's golf course with your friends or family. Will you manage to hit a hole in one and win?
Water fun at Subtropical Pool Aqualaren
As a guest at Summio Villapark Akenveen, you have unlimited access to water fun at Subtropical Pool Aqualaren, which is only a 6-minute drive from the park. You can get free tickets for the swimming pool from reception. Get your morning off to a good start by swimming some laps in the competition pool or have some fun in the water with your children in the indoor or outdoor paddling pool. There is also a leisure pool with a 30-metre-long slide, rapids, a water umbrella, and bubble jets. If you'd like to relax your muscles in the warm water with massage jets, the hot whirlpool garden is just the thing for you!
